I've had the Sprint Booster, a very similar product, on my ZR1 for years and love it. It's really great to add 20 hp with just a plug in gizmo. Just kidding about the hp of course. There has been so much negativity about these throttle boosters mostly by people that don't have them saying you can just push the gas pedal down a little more, it doesn't improve performance etc. Whatever, but it took out all of the throttle hesitation and made the car more responsive and more fun to drive I know that.

I have the Vitesse on the Z and the throttle response is amazing. There is no horsepower increase but the time it takes those 638 ponies to catch up is significantly decreased. In the performance mode (B button) there are 10 settings from OEM (0) to change your shorts (9) and for the faint of heart there are economy settings (A button).
I also have a Pedal Commander on my '08 Dodge Super Bee 6.1L Hemi and it has 4 modes with 8 settings in each mode. WOW! did it ever wake the Hemi up. Those 425 ponies have 32 ways to catch up quick. I really have to pay attention to this one when I change modes.
FWIW, any throttle controller is dangerous if you do not respect their capabilities. Just like our cars!

It's adjustable so you can dial it to off any time you want. That said once you get used to it you will never want to dial it down.

install is super easy, and heavy traffic or poor weather won't get you into any trouble. You will quickly learn how much throttle to give it at low-speed, low-acceleration maneuvers.
I was extremely skeptical of the unit, but have had it for over a year and am very pleased.

Holy ****! Just installed the throttle controller and all I can say is wow! I only had it set on 4 of 9 and couldn't keep from lighting up the tires and keeping the rear end straight. I think I'm going to like this thing and although it would be great coming like this from the factory I could a lot of folks putting these cars into the ditch because of it.
Fairly easy install but it's tight quarters and hard to get both hands down there. Also, the 3 push pins are a biatch to get out on the panel in the footwell.

I drive around with mine on zero or five. Zero for traffic and five for backroads. I have an auto-blip as well. Doesn't make sense for day-to-day driving but it sure is fun when you have room to use it!

That is normal, with the Controller, you're pulling more air into the Throttle Body, into the engine and then to your exhaust, the air is flowing at a faster rate so that's why you hear all the popping sound when you start decelerating...
This is another good reason to buy our Controller !

You may need to look at your other mods what's causing this, maybe you have an aftermarket exhaust / muffler.
It could be a Cold air intake...
This is a natural effect, the more air that travels your exhaust, the louder it will become, it's not something you can control or adjust.

Yes, our Controller is still effective on top of a Tune.
The popping is caused by any un-burned gas in your exhaust.
If your Tune will get rid of the popping ? Yes, by adjusting your Timing.
