Nice going. Keep chipping away at it.

Yeah, the c5 auto record is mid 8's which is very impressive although easier then with a manual with parts that are readily available.

Tough to go that low no matter what the HP or power adder with stock style transmissions and street/strip clutches.

Thanks everyone... car is ready for a new attempt in couple weeks.

currently Fastest N/A stick shift Z06 in the 1/4 and 1/2 mile (never posted anything about the 1/2 mile but if I have time I will do it)

we put a new cam in it, and switched from a Mantic twin to a triple disc, and put this thing on a diet and lost almost 100lbs..... we will see how it does on a 18" drag radial before switching to 17s or 15s

I hope you can raise the bar Ahmed. 100lbs is an impressive weight loss. What is the curb weight at now?

Awesome times, congrats. What rear tire are you running? You make the launch seem too easy. lol

MT ET 18” tires. The car is lighter than a normal z06 so its easier to launch and doesnt require a lot of RPM to launch it. I have been racing stick shift z06s for some years now and got to learn how to launch them. Seat time, technique and some luck you will get it.

18 because helps 1/2 mile or? Is it just to have less tire rise up top?
