New N/A Z06 record
I haven't posted here in a long time, working multiple jobs and doing all this car stuff, I barely get anytime.
Anyway wanted to post my results from couple days ago. People who follow me on FB already know it, but I know a bunch here don't and its nice to document it here.
I dont want to go into too much details, but here is a quick run down if the car setup.
507ci RHS Tall Deck
Mast Mozez Heads and Intake
ID Injectors
ProEFI 128 ECU
Solid roller high compression setup on VP Q16 fuel.
MT 18" Drag Radials (soon to be changed as they are not keeping up)
Mantic 9000 Twin Disc
STOCK T56, Stock Rear end, stock driveshaft all stock ratios 1 stock Axle and one C5 Axle
All new setup total of 6 passes over 2 days.
First day (250 DA)
2.1 60ft 10.3X@149
1.9 60ft 9.8X@150
1.7 60ft 9.65@151
Second day (366 DA)
1.8 60ft 9.7X@151
1.5 60ft 9.28@148 with a slipping clutch.
The car makes 730whp/680wtq on a dynojet SAE
With a better clutch, 15" tires, I can see myself going in the 9.0s maybe even 8.99s we will see in the next few weeks.
Here is a vid of the pass and time slip. This makes it the quickest N/A CZ06 (unless someone knows of one quicker)

Yes it has been a while, thought you bought a C7 Z06? I assume this data is for a C6 Z06? Congrats on the runs.

Wow!! That's wicked fast!!
May I ask.....if you C6Z is N/A, why the huge hood? Is it for the engine height being a 507ci?
Never seen a N/A C6Z with a hood like that.
Educate me??

Pause the video at about the 27 second mark with the hood popped. You can see the intake sticking up above the fender by what looks to be about a foot.

Nice.....Ill be going for no 1 or 2 spot with a z06 with a z06 engine in it soon n/a...stock bottom end in it....cheaper just to take z06 engine out and put in another engine..
