Thanks man. I can't make it this sunday because I have to help my old man get the boat ready to go in the water. Looks like it might rain? Do they do it every sunday? Whats the schedule like? I'll try to make one sooner than later
herb chambers is once a month. It's more of a hike for you but larz anderson cars and coffee is spectacular when the weather is nice. This month is on the 19th.

Just finished up passenger side. Holley tall in satin black. Re ran intake line to air filter with 3/8 nylon fuel line hose back to dry sump. Used 3/8 regular fuel line for breathers on valve covers. I also tucked the evap lines under throttle body(PITA). Used 3/8 nylon for gas tank evap and 3/8 regular for intake mani. Worst part is that i go to do the drivers side and the coil bracket doesn’t work with the coil pack. I contacted holley to see what they say, if nothing else i will have to grind away some so that the coil fits. Anyone else have that issue?

Still going to add some mesh loom for coil wires.

Fender removed. pretty straight forward

2nd attempt on mounting the coil bracket. 1st one interfered with the fender tab that protrudes near that area. Had to move it up. Coil wiring will come through top hole, plug wires will go through bottom hole.

have to say im a little disappointed in the michigan motorsports coil relocation brackets. The spacers included are not quite long enough and when all 4 are bolted to the bracket, they can shake around like a rattle. Going to have to find a way to correct that.

Made one wire and should finish up the drivers side tonight. I noticed that my coil side terminals are a little different than the MSD wires i took off. The terminal on the original wires appears to have a black "guide" around it, whereas the ends that i bought from MSD dont. Any ideas? The boots say LS1 and I know they have the same coils as LS7 so im not sure if it matters or not.

Also will be ordering some fittings and line for my valve covers/PCV project and some wire sheathing to clean up the engine bay

Great pictures for the coil relocation. I saved them as a reference for my own project, doing this soon.

I had some in 2015. With powdercoating and the relocator brackets they were stupid expensive, and heavy.

Call me old... I am, but I don't understand why we would want to hide this LS technology. Maybe we can hide the fuel injection under a dummy 4 barrel. How about a fake dual point dizzy too? All kinds of possibilities here. I'm thinking some stamped steel wheel covers would be the bomb. Crazy

I'm starting to think about this coil relocation idea into the fenders. Has anyone that has done this mod found any negatives after performing this ?

Just the 20 minutes or less to pull a fender if you need to swap a wire.
