Default anyone use heat wrap on the clutch line?

I was thinking that since heat is the enemy on the clutch fluid, has anyone used a heat resistant sheath like this on the line from the master down into the trans? I see stock there is something on there but not sure how good that is. This is only $25 for 3 feet.

i had 2 layers of protection for my factory line. 2000 degree DEI titanium or something like that(one on the header primary and one on the line).

It lasted ~5k miles before blowing. It didnt look like a heat burn per say like most people experience, but definitely dry rotted from the heat and just took a while for it to come apart.

Replaced the rubber section with -4 AN braided line with 2 layers of firesleeve plus the same piece of 2000 degree heat wrap on the header primary. So far so good. If it blows again its an hour or less to replace the piece of -4 AN braided line.

Yes it helps. Nothing is more important than fresh clutch fluid every season, but wrapping that line near the exhaust doesn't hurt.

I double wrapped the clutch line and the brake lines running forward. My brake lines were closer to the headers than the clutch line..
