soooo will it overheat after one lap instead?

BBWWWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

too soon?

ok joke aside, I really hope they got that heat issue really figured out if they plan on pushing 800hp....since they couldn't with 650 and took 2+ years to do it right....

I'm expecting the C7 ZR1 won't overheat as Chevy will use this as an opportunity to fix the C7Z design mistakes they won't publicly admit to, but internally are aware of. It would be too expensive to recall the C7Z to fix the cooling problems. Instead, they'll finally get the C7 properly sorted with the ZR1 before they go on to screw up the early C8s in some yet to be determined way. This is the nature of design cycles. The earliest iterations get the most hype, but the last iteration of a design is the one with all the fixes.

The front end definitely looks like it will have better airflow than the C7Z. I'm going to guess the supercharger will be larger as well to help improve efficiency and reduce heat. At least a 2.3l, or possibly 2.7l blower like the demon.

I'm sure a lot of C7Z guys will be retrofitting parts from the ZR1 to help with performance and cooling. Hopefully for the C7 guys sake, parts will bolt right up.

When will GM end all this nonsense and quit making fools out of its customers with all this speculation and rumors. The numerous problems with the ZO6 should be solved first before creating new ones with the rumored ZR!. Maybe the TEAM could use some overhauling or is it about the money.

Im pretty sure the speculation and rumors are coming from the foolish media, not GM.

When it comes down to it, particularly with publicly traded companies, it's always about the money.
