[Z06] Shelby GT500

Melting Slicks
GT500 is a great platform, the 2013-2014 5.8 liter engines are beasts. I bought a 2012 Boss 302 brand new, Race Red with black accents, Torsen Diff and Recaro seats. I loved that car, so much fun to drive, comfortable too. BUT, I love the vette even more.
I also did a coyote engine swap in my 90' Fox body, she ran hard.

Funny you mention that as whenever my fiance drives my 2012 5.0, she always comes back and comments how comfortable the car is. And that's with the car being lowered on Eibachs/konis + 19 & 20" wheels. Big part of the reason is she finds the seats very comfy. I do too for the most part.

Like both cars..................they share garage space at my home.
Even with stock power (663 in my 2013) traction is an issue AWA the weight of the car and the pathetic 3:31 ratio in the rear end. Take care of those things and the car will give a HCI Z a run for its money. I've so far taken some steps in my GT500 to address the first two issues, a 3:90 gear is going in soon then I'll try it out at the track to see how it fares compared to my Z (560rwhp, 500 tq). No engine mods yet on the Shelby.

Beer goggles. See those all the time up here... thats why they aren't making anymore. Oh with all the automakers fudging diesel numbers GM included for their class action owners lawsuit..who knows if Fiat Chrysler can survive their US govt. 4 billion dollar lawsuit. Might hurt their quality.. wait a minute.. oh yeah Chrysler products still sit near the bottom anyway... as of course this is all satire. Who cares anyway right? The planet is going to hell right before our eyes. Happy Sunday. 😊
