Default Best Spark Plug Wires

Had a spark plug wire pop off last week so my car was running on 7 cylinders on the way home from a show. Fixed that up but I now occasionally get a "Service active handling" message on the DIC after a WOT pull. Probably time to replace them anyways considering it just fell off during normal driving. What does everyone recommend? MSD on their now.

OEM AC Delco or Firecore 50. I've got the Firecore wires with promod boots on my car now with no issues. More expensive though than AC Delco but work great.

+1 on the AC DELCO. The MSD wires are junk

MSD can be quite difficult to get snapped onto the plugs. More so with headers in the way. I just installed some Firecore wires with the pro-mod boots, and absolutely love how easy they are to snap onto the plugs and coils. If you are someone who is into wires with the lowest amount of resistance, the MSD wires do edge out the Firecore, but only slightly. I built my own MSD wires and they are the same length as the Firecore. MSD are 31 ohm, Firecore are 35 ohm. Not enough of a difference to be a concern.

Firecore is a small owner/operator business. The sets are built per order, all by hand. The owner himself returned my call at 10pm his time to answer my questions. He gets serious props for that.....

OEM or firecore.

I've ran just about everything. Have firecore now. Would gladly recommend them. Been on/off 5-6 times, no issues.

I prefer Taylor 10mm wires, I've owned all of the above recommendations wires and Taylors hold up the best.

I've had Taylors, and they don't even come close to the firecores.

I mean at the end of the day as long as they stay on and resistance values are within spec should it really matter?

Correct, I found the Taylors hold up better when taking them off which I do often. Everyone will have their wires of choice but I prefer Taylors

You have, Taylor makes several different style of wires. Their TunderVolt 10mm Race wire are the ones I'm specifically talking about

I still have 7 out of 8 of those Taylor wires. They are ok, but I like the firecore.

AC Delco OEM are great too. Really almost any wire is fine.

Autozone lifetime warranty wires are great too, and if you break one, get a new setup no questions asked.

I run firecore wires. They have been off and on several times with no issues.

I would agree, but I'm not a fan of MSD wires I would run OEM Delco's over MSD

Could anyone share a picture of the ProMod boots? Curious as to what exactly those are...

Thanx.
