My Build Results: 636rwhp NA
Everyone posting their awesome NA build results, figured I would share. Posted this in my build thread in early may, but figured some who haven't ventured in there might enjoy. Just been ripping the car this summer, not too many changes. Been hurting a lot of feelings! Working on powder coating the brakes and a few other cosmetic changes, and waiting for my Incurve forged wheels to come in
Here is my 2008 z06 putting down 636rwhp NA. Ethanol sensor was reading E65. Also made 626 on 93 pump gas! Mods are:
WCCH Stage 2 Heads Milled .030
MSD Air Force Intake Ported by Tony Mamo
NW 102mm Throttle Body
Callaway Honker Intake
BTR Stage 4 Camshaft
2" ARH headers to 3" Borla ATAK
Flex Fuel sensor setup
Car is a blast!
rtup vid (back in april or so)

Not going to BS anyone and say they are great, but it is easily driveable. I am used to it. Gives me an excuse to rev it
No problems on the highway, more the low speed parking lot stuff. I am going to try and learn to use HPtuners this fall, and might mess with it a bit, but it is not a daily driver so i dont care so much right now.
All dynos read different, but I am happy
Should be heading to the track in the next month. i like going in the early fall when temps are not as hot.

Very nice! Have you taken it to the track or done any 1/2 mile racing?

These are great results. I am really curious if you can cruise in 4th 5th or 6th in the 1600rpm range without bucking and surging.
I also don't daily my car either but I would like to be able to cruise in high gears without horrible drivability. Thanks for any feedback you can provide.

Not yet, not sure of any half mile events in the new england area.
No issues there that I have discovered yet. like I said the only thing that is tricky is the slow parking lot surge, as with most cams
Jay, i dont think i had posted any videos on facebook. What did you see?

That is a loaded question when people ask and answer it. The answer is probably "it depends". If you are on an incline, or apply throttle to maintain, a BTR stage 4 can probably have minimal surge, but if you are off the throttle, or very very light throttle that is different. It is something you have to drive to feel.
You can always downshift to 5th, or use 6th for at 80+mph, or when throttle is needed to maintain speed.
There is a lot more to the question of can it cruise without any surge/bucking.
