I know plenty of people have this cam and it makes great power,But is it really daily driver friendly ? I went with too big of a cam on my GTO and ended up hating the car with the surging etc
Fran,I'm having you guys do my build once i have all my parts. The cam is the only thing left to decide on

RPM completed my H/C with the B-3 last Feb/March. Makes great power and solid build. Great guys to deal with, very honest and thorough. I literally drove my Z06 from VA straight to their shop in DE the same day I bought my vehicle, lol!

My car is set to be delivered Tuesday. I already started stock piling and spoke to Bill about doing the heads/cam package very soon. I'm new to the forums and this is my first Z but I know a lot about RPM. I just sold my 766whp CTSV. I should of had RPM build it but ended up picking the wrong builder / tuner

As people mentioned they regularly daily drive it without issue.

Anyone who has ever said they have had surging issues has been with their tune/tuner.
We obviously know this setup better than anyone and tune them on a daily so if you are bringing it to us there won't be any issue.
Just let us know when you are ready

However, drivability is VERY subjective and my suggestion would be to find a car to drive with the cam that you want to use before you make a commitment. The B3 Cam does make a lot of power, especially up top. You will give up some whp with this cam under the curve vs. a smaller cam though. Really depends on what you are looking for.

I agree on it being subjective. However tons of surging and bucking is exactly that,Regardless if people learn to live with it or not. On a daily driver that's sitting in traffic a good amount. It becomes old very fast
It will be a my daily driver and a highway car for the most part,Ill go to the track here and there but i'm done chasing records. I definitely want a cam that has great top end,My only concern was traffic/daily driving etc
