So here you go with the updates. The filter box is now finally finished. As I mentioned previously, the bent hoses showed mass flow losses on the order of 25% in CFD simulations. The lambda data backed this up once the new filter box was installed yesterday as we were way too lean. The fuel flow had to be increased by up to 28%!!! We haven't been on the dyno yet, but we are expecting very good news due to this. The car felt a lot quicker right away, especially starting around 3800 RPM. Enjoy the photos.

Wow!! That’s very impressive, looks like an extremly high quality product with a lot of resources going into the overall design of it.

Really looking forward to seeing what the difference looks like on the rollers. Happy for you guys

Anxious for numbers too. Also, any chance the readers could get a break down of the mods used/needed to make this happen? I'm also super curious about tuning. Are you using speed density or stand-alone for something like this?

Absolutely stunning! Would love to get that intake and the Harrop ITBs on my car someday!

That is sexy as hell! A black anodized billet tech alternator would really finish that off.

Haha, not even sure what I'm allowed to say to that on the forum. What direction do you think the bitcoin is heading? :p

Yes, the car has AR headers, forged stock bottom end + Mahle pistons, standard heads without porting but CR of around 11.5, Katech K501 camshaft + valve train equipment. Obviously the Harrop Hurricane came on top of that with our intake setup and alternator relocation kit to make it work.

It can run on either speed density or MAF with HP Tuners for instance. We have it set up to work on either. The MAF actually sits in the filter box ahead of the silicon coupler on the passenger side on the outside. You can somewhat see it sticking out on one of the images.

The ones that I've seen would also have given us about half an inch more space when relocating the alternator. That was the biggest nightmare to find a spot where that thing doesn't touch anything and the serpentine still works out. It's running off a piggy pulley now on an HTD belt. But maybe some day, it would definitely look good

After we got a bit of the learning curve, I can only recommend it! Obviously you can get a supercharger for that price, but this has something special about it, also when driving. The car can idle at 400 RPM if you really want to push it with the K501

I'm the same exact build as you, but at 12.0:1 and E85. I've been following this intake manifold for years, and watched this thread with high hopes. I want to stay N/A, so this is really cool for me

That setup would look awesome on a mid engine Corvette with a clear glass cover.

Sick.

In for results and information on the alternator relocation. This would make up an forward headers more bearable for me in the event I got the urge to waste copious amounts of money on turboing my car.
