Work around would be one of our ULZ Hoods donated to build a new mold. It would not be harmed in any way to do this.

It's great to see this car still making appearances in CF. One of my all time favorites. When was the MSD intake added, and is it ported? I would be interested in the weight with the new equipment.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!
Someone let them make a mold of that hood. I've been wanting one since I picked up my '11 Z07. Hopefully one makes it back to the shop one of these days. I take it this beautiful machine is no longer in the shop. One BAD VETTE.

Not sure I understand why someone would wait to ask to make a mold of a part on a car they just sold, when there was ample opportunity prior to the sale..
Anyway, cool, fast car. Looks like it will see some track duty with those slicks.

If one of our customers would donate their hood to make a mold, we could get these made again. The original mold was designed by me, but the work was done by another fabricator. They have been unwilling to sell the mold back to me, and I have been unwilling to sell my intellectual property rights to them.

Contrary to popular belief, horsepower is not the only contributor to speed. I believe Jim's car was very traction limited and my have had a weigh bias on the front of the car. The wing, splitter and roll bar should add a lot of balance.

Maybe I can afford this car when the new owner sells it in a couple of years!

Awesome car! Great to see it again
I subbed to the weight-off (???) thread and have read through it a few times looking for all the things in it that I can actually afford to do
Jim, do you still make the carbon rear quarter panels? I'd love to buy a set and I'd also be interested in a carbon beehive (to replace my plastic one) if you still make that as well.

I have your hood in exposed carbon fiber.
How long do you need the hood to make a mold?
What about shipping?
Damage has been an issue in the past.
