vacuum hose

Removed my battery in my 09 Z06 and found a vacuum line open ended. Can anyone tell me what its for?

Don't think so, its coming from the opening inside the fender well.

Mordeth is correct. Vents battery off-gases to the exterior, rather than allowing them to enter the cabin of the vehicle.
