Default Normal or not?

So my cammed 09 z06 with longtubes and no cats seems to puff a little smoke. Only does this at wot and at higher rpm. It smells like fuel. All fluid levels are perfect on the car and it runs amazing. Had a buddy tell me its just fuel. Any truth to this? Car has ahp fixed heads along with btr vlv train components. Id upload a video if someone can point me in the right direction.

Blue is fuel and black is oil. It's definitely fuel as when he let's off of it and it flames up out the tailpipes it's burning the access off.

Wrong,
Black smoke is fuel and blue smoke is oil.
Watch your oil level very close.

I'm sorry for giving the wrong info. I always thought it was the other way around. White being water as well. But thank you for the correction.

Oil level has stayed the same after 1500 miles. All fluid levels have stayed the same.

So is it a rich at high rpm issue or is it typical for a cammed seven liter with a decent tune?

A "decent" tune would not be rich and WOT high-rpm. With an N/A LS7 a good tuner is going to try for .85-.87-lambda across the rpm range when in PE.

Looks like excessive fuel from your video.

Tune needs work.

Little confused, by making an assumption here, you have one of the best tuners in the country, what did he say? What was his recommendation? There is more to this story.......

Bluecat is who tuned the car and he pays a lot of attention to detail. Car runs super strong and is very smooth as well.

Contacted the builder of my car. He also said that he wouldnt worry with it. That it doesnt look bad to him. He knows these engines very well. He had until just recently the fastest 6 speed z06 1/4 mile time, and currently has 8 or more vettes he is working on. So i trust the tuner and builder completely. However im just a lil worried as i dont have 15k to spend on a rebuild or worse lol.

I suppose it could be as simple as a whack injector or an unbalanced injector system. I don't think you have any problems or anything to worry about. My 600 whp LS7 make a little fuel smoke in certain situations. My brand new Camaro makes alot of fuel smoke under right foot load.

i think u may be right. It has more if im in nuetral and rev it to 5500 or 6k rpm with the clutch depressed then under a load on the road. I cant even tell if im on the road at all. Only if at a stop and rev in nuetral so its not like its bad enough to see on the road with wind moving.

This is from bluecat himself directly As far as the smoking on the dyno in the vid, thats pretty much just a function of the condition of the motor. Some dont smoke at all, some more than yours. All in all thats fairly typical and dosen't really imply there is a problem.
