Default I swear my car is retarded (07 Z06)

I open the door the seat moves forward, I hit the driver 1 button and it goes back to the proper position. I get in and drive. I shut the car off and the seat moves forward again. I have to move it back to get out

I have set the memory over and over again...I turned off easy exit and yet it does this ****.

WTF!

My C5 never had these issues with the memory...it had other issues but memory function wasn't one of them. This car has had issues with memory since I got it in July 06 back then it was just every now and again now it is all the damn time.. I think it has alzheimers now because its worse than ever

I believe you have to change the memory settings for the car entry/exit button. That would be the middle button. You can also just turn it off in the Dic settings.

There is an "EXIT POSITION" memory setting. IT has been set to go to that position when the door opens or the car shuts off. Reposition the seat where you want it to exit the car, then redo the memory set. I believe there is a separate way to set the exit memory than the driver memory. Its in the owners manual. Sorry I can t remember the prosedure

Any possibility that both FOBs are in proximity when this occurs?

I was having a similar problem in my Ford Raptor. Tried everything. Ended up disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. Reconnected and everything was fine.

I have an 07 Z06 too and this happened to me a couple of times. I just made all seat settings and exit settings the same, and it went away.

Also, one time I hit the drivers side door unlock button at the same time my wife hit the passenger's side door unlock button, and it reset all the radio stations. Next time I started up the car, the radio stations went back to what they were. Strangest thing ever.
