We have had a few questions come in about this particular build. The engine is completed at GSpeed but the car in question is going to be doing some class racing for the remainder of the year and the 468 is not legal for that class, so it will possibly be testing over the winter.

We do have a few more variations of the 468 coming up for local customers, and a few more for the group at GSpeed to show off some other combo's as well.

I think this puts into perspective just how much more average power the HPR 468 really makes over most stock and H/C/I 427's.

Stock LS7 data pulled from a few posted here online, DynoJet SAE corrected
LS7 H/C/I pulled from a few posted on CF again using DynoJet SAE correction with typical bigger headers, MSD, 102, higher compression.....some have made more, most less.

Yes it is, and it would continue to hold that power a bit further through the RPM range with a better induction system on top. Given most intakes on the market today are based around smaller displacement engines, these will start to pull intake vacuum during the pull and run out of air being supplied Given most are used in that RPM range (sub 7,000) for street use and mixed street/track) it still shows a huge gain in performance.

Would love to see a Carbon XR manifold on that thing...or better yet, a Whipple.

Please tell me that's a specifically designed venturi and not a roll of tape on the inlet.

The white part...that's a 3D printed inlet, the black is tape, we had a number of different air inlet tubes during all of this trying rough (rough being key) inlet piping to try and keep that from being a restriction and only test the intake and TB changes.

Have you tried a carb style intake on one of these engines? Just thinking it should offer good airflow and can’t be much taller, if any, than a high ram?

We have, but in the realm of Corvette's it doesn't work as there are no drive by wire TB's for a carb intake that we have seen.

I realize this is the CF and thus you probably haven't shared data on those intakes here, but have you posted anywhere else that I might go take a look? That's much more inline with my combination and would thus love to see more data!

Thanx!

we are not complete with testing yet, and it would be not in everyone’s best interest if we posted the results we have. This also includes back to back nw112 (yes, 112) prototype TB testing as well.
