Default "Kill switch" for long term storage

Hi all.

Pardon what I hope isn't too stupid a question. I did a search for kill switch posts, but discussions were about theft prevention.

My issue is simpler. My car is kept in secure storage but without access to a trickle charger. Sometimes it can be up to 2 mos between drives.

In some of my older (i.e., fewer electronics) cars, I've installed a simple kill switch like the one below so that the batteries last a bit longer.

Any issues with installing this on a C6 Z06? I'm guessing this should be no problem, but just wanted to be sure. On newer cars with all the ECU's and modules, you can sometimes wind up with silly errors that require resetting or recalibrating, etc.

thanks in advance!

Or just put a 10mm socket in trunk and disconnect the battery. Takes 30 seconds. No cost, and easy.

Hidden key in your fob...eject the key, and use the keyhole (also hidden) down by your license plate to pop the hatch. From there, pull the manual release tab in the trunk to open the door.
