I signed paperwork. Deal is done. I called them before pics hit cars.com and even their own website. But they were in process of taking pics of it. Maybe the ad dept isn't talking to finance and sales... but unless they sell the car out from under me (and they've given me no reason to think they will).
Ok... I just saw it is on ebay. All I can figure is advertising is not on the same page as the sales/finance guys. But thanks for the heads-up. I gave them a deposit on Thursday and signed paperwork today, so we'll see what the outcome is.

One of the advertising guys emailed me right away after i sent them a note from ebay, and he explained exactly what I was thinking.
Should be all good. We all understand deals fall-through, etc...and they had already been given the go-ahead and promote/advertise the car when I reached out and made contact.

The prices are dropping faster then slower, and even low mile 10’s will be in 50ties shortly.

A Centennial with 9000 miles sold for $70k recently, I know that.
I didn't pay the asking price for the car I ended up buying, but I wasn't gong to let a few thousand be a make-or-break thing, either... not for the right car in the condition I was after.

those are replica wheels... I heard you are interested in getting rid of the wheels. I am interested if the price is right. I bent one of my rears, bought another one (supposedly a OEM, but it was a smooth replica.. now I have three OEM and one replica). Let me know

regardless of your assertion that the wheels on the car are replicas... I will check them when I receive the car shortly, but I believe they are OEM and have never been off the car. I certainly wouldn't sell or represent something they are not.
In fact, to my knowledge, I haven't even put them up for sale. ???

The one in MO sold last week. The Centennial car has been for sale at that price for months... obviously not serious about selling it.

I'm thinking about a 19/19 setup, so I can run a stickier tire in the rear.
If you have some pics of yours, I'd like to see them. I also would consider a set of the charcoal grey OEM wheels. Those look good on the JSB as well.
