Hey guys,
Can I have some insight on what you think I should pay for a 2007 Z with 8500 original miles on it. It is the original owner a 2LZ package with nav and chrome wheels. All supporting paperwork and in mint condition. Color is velocity yellow.

Guys are going to beat you up on the VYZ.... I on the other hand happen to love the VY cars... That is a pretty broad question.. what are you planning on doing with the car? Let it sit like the PO and just admire it in your garage? Or are you going to drive it? track it? race it? build it? I would expect a car like that depending on condition will run you $35-$38K... Anything < than that.... BUY IT if all checks out. Just my .02

$33-34K...whats the asking? If you're worlds apart...you may get him there.

Sure will. Just wanted to confirm and make sure that I was in the ballpark with the pricing. Also, any ideas on what the best performance parts are that gain the most horsepower for the Z

Thats a whole new ball game...just depends on what your goals are and what you plan to do with the car. Best bang for the buck is a proven CAI (Halltech or Callaway, etc) and a dyno tune. That's if you plan on keeping teh car stock-ish. If you're going H/C/I...so many flavors of heads and cams, it depends on your budget. Dont bother too much with LT's unless you go the H/C/I route IMO. Axle back systems do very little if anything for power...mainly a sound thing.

I bought a one owner, 29k miles 2006 VYZ from a friend almost 2 yrs. ago for 30K. It was absolutely mint and stock, but I had AHP do the heads at around 39k. I wasn't crazy about the VY at the time, but I really like it now.

If you're a DIY'er...they sell an install kit that gives you all the gaskets and hardware needed to do the job. You just need to supply the fluids and some elbow grease. They have a DIY head swap thread on here as well for step by step instructions, and they offer customer support if you need help or have questions along the way. Kohle and his crew make it too easy.

I'm gonna say mid 30's. NY may be a little different than it is here in Texas. The best thing to do is drive it a little while then decide what you want out of it. Be easy on the go pedal until you get used to it. Pics or it didn't happen.

Best of luck with your purchase! I upgraded from a base C6 as well a couple months ago and it's a huge difference. The wide body looks so much better too. You will love it!

Depends on tires IMO. If they are original tires take at least $1k off for replacements even if they have plenty of tread as they are useless and unsafe being that old.
