Default gauging interest, titanium intake pipe

a buddy of mine is looking to make a better fitting intake pipe out of titanium. he needs to make a minimum order for the material so he'd like to know if theres enough interest to make it worth it.

it could be sold as the pipe only that would directly replace the synergy pipe for owners that already have that intake or could possibly offer it as a complete intake with the halltech filter etc. for additional cost.

it would be guaranteed to fit will no rubbing on the hood.

price for just the pipe would be $550 shipped.

some samples of his welding.

Why TI? Aluminum seems like would be easier to fab and cheaper

with how tight the fitment is he feels it would be easier to fab out of TI due to how much smaller the welds are. with alum the welds need to be smoothed out which takes a lot of time and labor.

yes, it would be for the LPE snout and 102mm tb.

he's still trying to see if it would be worth it, the raw material is a big investment. ill keep everyone in the loop.
