Well, it’s been a few months of trying to figure out what’s been going on with my ZR1. It has been miss firing and running like crap.

First, I had the A&A fuel pump take a crap with under 1,000 miles on it. I honestly can’t believe A&A would not warranty it! Thank goodness for the good, honest people at speedinc they actually ate the whole job and then upgraded me to a Holly fuel pump setup, they went above and beyond for this job. Then the next issue came about, at times my car would sit for a few weeks and when I would go to drive it and it would run like dead crap! Other times it would run amazing like nothing ever happened. After doing a leak down test, further diagnosing, and consulting with Kong Performance we ended up finding 2 leaking intercooler bricks! This explains how water ended up on my spark plugs on both cylinders from time to time. Since I needed to replace the intercooler bricks we ended up pulling off the supercharger and sending it back to Kong performance to have them go through it and they updated it.



Here are the results of having Kong performances work their magic on my supercharger and update me to the stage 2 race port. I am beyond astounded with the results. Picked up another 69rwhp and 64rwtq from the port work and upgraded injectors. I ended up maxing out my ID1050s and upgraded to ID1300s.

900 rwhp boost only! NO Meth, No Nitrous!


I honestly can’t say enough good things about Speedinc and same for Kong Performance. Their top notch expertise and quality of workmanship are just beyond amazing!

When it comes to ZR1s, and any other supercharger port work, Kong Performance is where it’s at! They are the gurus of it!





I highly recommend both Speedinc and Kong Performance, especially if you want the best port work, go to Kong!

Holy torque curve! 800+ at 3250 is a tire shredding machine. Put that thing on a 15" tire and let it eat.
