Default DIY intake porting?

Hello, waiting to get my heads back from AHP (street port and polish) and wanted to port my intake manifold an tb as I have time to do any extra things. I decided to Retain my stock cam. Anyone done this, is there any DIY vids or instructions on doing this? I have a Dremel tool. Thank you!

I would have talked to Kohle and had him do everything for you since you sent your heads to him, I think his rates are very resonable.

I wouldn't touch a dremel to a stock intake. You are not a pro. Unless you are. It's worth the $$ for a real pro who knows where to put the dremel and knows where not to. You just don't smooth out every runner the same as the last one.

These heads and intakes flow so well from the factory that you have a better chance of screwing them up than making any improvements.

MS90 and PSI springs on a set of Kohle's heads here as well...definitely the right place to spend the money.

Best thing to do yourself with the intake is just remove the flashing left from the manufacturing process inside the ports. This is easy and impossible to screw up. No concrete proof it helps but smoother airflow can’t be bad.

You can always get a MSD when your budget allows if you find that you need more power.

I have a Faster proms (Formato) ported Ls7 intake. Yes it needed tuning after the swap. Yes the power is obvious everywhere. Roughly 20/20 peak. Every runner is totally different. Fascinating how good he is. Roughly same as a $900 FAST 102 out of the box for almost $600 less. All I needed.

Yep...leave to he highly skilled, they're good at it. Especially TB's if you don't have experience, you can really screw things up.

$160 to port the stock throttle body.
$400 to port the MSD/Fast intakes.
