Sure... someone _had to have_ a C7Z or something and traded it... and got the taxable trade value, too.
You and I aren't going to pay what the dealer paid. We have nothing to offer as a trade, or tax credit.
If the seller traded it for $57k (guess...but let's be honest... probably pretty close, right), then the _actual worth_ to the seller was $60.5k (6.25% sales tax here in Texas).
For the few on here who actually have a dealer license or can buy at a wholesale auction... all bets are off, of course. But those sales do _not_ set retail sales value for the 99.9% of tire-kickers on this board.

For the most part, trade-in consumers are different then private-sale consumers. Consumers are also more likely to trade a car in at a dealership for less money because it's a much easier process.
If that were not the case, used car dealerships wouldn't exist. Everyone would just buy and sell privately.

Point being... we are banging on the door of sub 60 ZR1's. Crazy value.

So much for _all_ these tire-kickers (NOT the OP) on here who say they can get this car for under $60k. I have shopped at CW, and they only sell pristine, mint, cars... but they negotiate _very, very_ little. For a perfect car, a serious, real, cash-in-hand buyer _will_ pay.
That car is worth every penny. Sale pending in less than 48 hours.

Just bought a 2013 zr1 from them. 665 miles, 80k. They would not negotiate, but the entire process was great. Car is in perfect condition. I spent a lot, but the way I look at it I got a brand new c6 zr1 for 46k less than in 2013!

I bought my '11 with 478 miles on it back in November. I probably paid a little above market for the _right_ car. I don't care. If I hadn't bought it, someone else would have.

These "tire kickers" on this Forum want a well kept, excellent condition, garage kept, correct color, never raced, new tires, etc etc for a less than wholesale price. Not gonna happen! You can just go to your dealer with your Z Corvette if you want to accept wholesale, much more simple than fooling with a tire kicker. geesh

Yep, I know the car you're talking about. It is gorgeous. Thanks for posting... proving all these low-balling, tire-kickers, completely _wrong_. The fact is, serious buyers, like yourself, will pay a premium for a perfect car.

I'm having a hard enough time finding a car. I don't need potential sellers getting scared off.

Hey guys, do me a favor and be more specific when you're calling people "tire kickers" on my thread. It insinuates that I am and I've put what I'm willing to pay for the car I'm looking for in black-and-white.

If someone has a mint, low mileage car to sell, you've proven you will jump on it. Fact is... these things are not readily available, or you'd have one.

Thank you very much! In 2008 I had a c6 and then the ZR1 came out next year. I did not want to pay the big price tag. Really glad that there are some beautiful ones with low miles out there now!
