whats up guys. So recently the car started making this squeaky noise while releasing the clutch in first gear. It wasn't there before. I don't know what could've caused it. Anybody had this issue on a ZR1 before ? It has 3,700 miles.

Could it be the clutch release bearing?

If so it should be noisy anytime the clutch pedal is pushed in with the engine running, Does it do it in neutral when sitting still?

it doesn't do it in neutral sitting still. and it doesn't do it in any other gear either. just 1st gear letting off the clutch.

I have a noise sometimes like clutch chatter when the car is cold in the first 2 or 3 clutch standing stop engagements. I have 9,300 miles

The ZR! chirping noise is a known issue (That is if that's what it is) My car did this from the beginning As you let off the clutch just pulling away in 1st. it makes a chirping noise. If I remember the GM Bulletin I read said it's coming from the exhaust?? Can't remember exactly where I found the bullitin but google ZR1 chirping noise.
