Auto Blip for you C6 Zo6/ZR1.........
RDP Store gives two thumbs up to the AUTO-BLiP. IT is a really slick unit and very effective on the track. It is a perfect addition to the C6 platform. Check it out, don't be scared.
It is a new patent pending electronic device that will automatically blip (open) the throttle when downshifting gears on an automobile equipped with a manual transmission and an electronic accelerator pedal system. AUTO-BLiP works by monitoring your automobile’s accelerator pedal position sensor (TPPS), brake pedal, and clutch pedal, and only blips the throttle when both brake and clutch pedals are pressed simultaneously. AUTO-BLiP reduces mechanical wear and tear on manual transmissions, improves vehicle stability when downshifting gears, and eliminates the need for the heel-and-toe driving technique.

That depends on your skill level and what you consider simple. Mordeth is a great contributor to the forum and I used his tutorial to help with my installation- check Post #28 of the link below. Between that, the provided instructions, and the great support from Auto Blip it wasn't bad at all. I removed my drivers seat to gain better access to below the dash. I doubt I could have done it without doing that. I have mine mounted exactly where Mordeth put his, which makes it very easy to turn on/off and to adjust the settings. You'll need to drill a small hole to run the cable through- make sure you run it through before making all the connections. You'll see what I mean. It's a great little unit.
