Default Finally went 9’s

Hey guys. I figured I would share my new personal best. My goal since last winter was to make my car go into the nine’s N/A. After a few rentals and changing out a few things I finally got what I was hunting for. This is a head/cam setup, with full bolt ons, running on E85. This also is full street trim with nothing removed from the car except the front sway bar. I want to thank my buddies from JTM Motorsports, John and Matt, and Chris Kagan from Kagan Tuned for helping me achieve my goal. Also got to meet Gary at the rental today and he shared a lot of information with me. Heres a mod list, video and the time slip. Maybe 9.8’s next season

2008 c6 z06
tires used- hoosier dr2. 335/35/17
mods- btr stage 4 cam, ported heads, mamo msd intake manifold, nw 102, e-85, 2” ARHlong tubes, halltec intake, mantic 9000 clutch, 17" weld drag pack

Congrats on that achievement.

It's cool when you set a goal and then make it happen. Great work!!

I have 2” ARH. I pick up 18whp and the torque stayed about the same peak, but held stronger all the way to redline.

Saw the pass on the fastlist thread. I wanted to be be the next guy with a 9s entry but that will have to wait till next yr now lol. Great pass In not too long I assume all top 10 on the HCI list will be 9s cars.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I’m almost happier that i didnt break anything either. There is definitely room for improvement but I still have a big smile on my face. I believe there is a 9.7 in it, i just need more seat time.

Now shes all clean getting ready for hibernation.

Congrats on getting into the 9s, do you have more side shots of the car with the S77s? Rarely see them with powdercoated lips. Looks great!

I'm in the same boat man. We had some bad luck this season. Guess it'll have to wait till next year.
