09 z06 battery
I posted this in the general discussion section, but thought I would share this.
I just had a new experience, the battery in my 09 Z06 blew the sides out when I tried to start the car. It's the original battery, 8 years old, always on a battery tender, 3000 miles on the car. Anyone experience this?

No, but 8 years on the OE battery might be a record. My 09 OE battery called it quits in late 2015...also always on a tender. Anything over 5 years on a battery is borrowed time IMO.

Yup, I agree, guess I had a good one. Another battery brand that I have had good luck with is the Wall Mart Maxx series. They last up to and sometimes over the 5 year warranty mark.
