Loud noise (injectors?)
Hey guys I have a noise coming from the engine I think it’s either the injectors or the pushrods it’s always had it since my head and cam swap I don’t remember when it was stock. But it sounds like a ticking sound in a way but at a pretty fast pace. I was told injectors is this true? I can’t hear it past about 2500rpms cause of my exhaust.
thanks guys I’m sure it’s fine but don’t want a lifter or anything going wrong

Likely injectors or valve train noise which is common for all LS7. Has it changed recently?

Injectors do tick, and these cars can be a tad noisy on the top-end....but, how long ago (mileage-wise) was the head swap? Were lash caps reinstalled on the Ti intakes? Could be lifter noise...did you measure pushrods for proper preload?
My valvetrain is actually quieter post head swap.

And don’t mind the check engine light that’s fromlong cranking cause of my overheated starter only happens when I’m on it hard and long need to wrap my starter or coat the headers

Ok! Will do soon as I get to work today, it’s coming from the pushrods/rockerarm area when I place my ear 6 inches away from that area
