What size tires are you guys running in 19/20 set ups.
I want to put the largest sizes that will fit. Really looking for a little more height. I don't want to lower the car so a little taller tire may fill the gaps better.

740 to the tires. I know the won’t hold the power for racing. I will have a set for that. I want these for DD and road trips.

If money is no object, R888R is what I’d try. They are grippy, taller, can be driven in light rain if you get caught, and don’t compromise lateral stability.

“Whatever else” is the variable. Michellin Cup 2s are what I ran for about a year on 19/20 combo with 650 rwhp. They were fine for spirited back road driving but weren’t that great for highway pulls.

Mickey Thompson ET Street SS is what I'll be running next. Currently on Michelin Pilot Sports and they can't grip that well. Currently putting down 560 rwhp.

Some info on Toyo tire sizes for those interested in them...

You have a few different combinations of tire sizes that will work.

Those of you that are not getting grip with the mpss or cup2...what kind of pressure are you running and how cold is it outside?

32-34 psi.. all year in the midwest. Anywhere from 30* to 100*.

Thank you for the reply. I know these tires like to be at ~34psi when hot for best grip and not more...perhaps it would be worth while trying to run 28 om the street.

You've got to be very careful on the height ratio between front and rear or you will throw off the traction control. Trust me I had this happen. I purchased a set of tires that had the wrong ratio because I wanted as big as I could get. I now have 19/20 and went with 285/335 which is the stock setting for ZR1. Works fine. I think the height difference front to back needs to be about .8-1.25 inches...so make sure you keep about in the range.

Is it like the C5 where it will cut power thinking there is wheelspin and apply brakes?
