Default Question about cam for stock unported heads

I was reviewing stock head flow numbers and it looks like there is no airflow gain past .600 lift.

So is it correct to assume that if I'm running stock unported heads, there is no reason to spec a cam with more than ~.630 lift due to the capped head flow and for valve guide longevity?

Can anyone share opinions on this cam for a mild daily driver? 222/246 .630/.630 116 +4

Other mods include, CAI, MSD intake, ported TB, stock headers/exhaust.

You're on the right track. The cam specs you cite falls close to the popular 116 cams from AHP and Katech. At the 116 LSA, that cam would make for a great daily driver, as attested to by many who have used similar specs.

Generally, .630' of lift is the mark for the LS7 rocker arm longevity, but I went with TSP LS7 lobes that have .635"/.635" of lift, and given that they were on LS friendly lobes designed by TSP, I was okay with the extra five 1/1000's of additional lift when combined with everything else I was putting in there, (CHE trunnions, Johnson 2110 SLR lifters, etc.)
