Default Dyno day with my TSP heads and new 2.2 cam results

Hey guys just had my car tuned with my new setup--Mods currently are TSP PRC 285cc Heads with their new stage 2.2 camshaft. I left the heads untouched to retain stock compression for a possible supercharger in the near future. I also had the block sleeved with darton sleeves as well with a new Mccloud RST twin disk. Im using the Texas Speed 1 /7/8 headers with their off road X pipe and killer bee halltech intake. Stock ls7 intake manifold and throttle body are still retained and car drives like factory and has a mean idle. How do these numbers look guys? The humidity today was pretty high as well. It ended up at 547 rwhp and 498 tq at the tires

Thanks man! I initially had a btr stage 3 for this setup but I changed it at the last second. Hopefully I made the right move.

well if ur cam is anything like mine ur gonna love it....great stock like driveability and gobs of power throughout the rev range....I can still ease out the clutch from a stop and the car won't stall out

anyone know what I could expect if I went to msd or ported ls7 and a NW TB? just wondering if the bolt-ons are worth it past this point.

Very nice results. Mamo MSD I would say there's another conservative 30 hp there. Ported stocker, probably half that at best. I wouldn't do MSD (or Fast) if you're planning to go FI though. You could...but I would recommend selling it and going back to stock manifold when you do FI. As for NW...those are worth 5-6 HP on max effort NA builds...so not a must have for you. Not to mention, if going FI you would want a NW "boosted" TB...but there are 1200+ hp FI cars running through OE intake/TB setups. If you're looking to spend the money elsewhere...ditch the TSP 1-7/8 LT's for some ARH 2" LT's. There will be more power gains there as well...and will still work just fine with FI down the road.

Pretty much this. I wouldn't doubt you could pick up 30hp/30tq from a Mamo MSD and NW102 combo.

FWIW, I made similar power with TSP headers, ported heads, BTR Stage 3. Mamo MSD gave me 30whp and 45wtq.

Nice build and results. Thanks for posting the dyno graph with all the info including weather conditions and SAE5 smoothing.

I have a K501 cam, cleaned up MSD and NW102. In late March I will swap the cleaned up MSD (flashing removed, not ported) for a MAMO MSD and have been told to expect about 15-20 HP from that. I will post all the info when I swap it out. CPR did just about all my HCI work in one shot, the only change was going from a Pfadt 1 7/8" with catted x-pipe to ARH 2" w/catted x-pipe, which gained me 24 rwhp and 18 rwtq. The K501 is bigger than your TSP 2.2 with some drivability sacrifices, but still fine on the street.

JSB Zs rule!

Black is for tires, you must do a lot of track events to get that much black rubber all over your car
