Fantastic job you have done there!! I am going to be doing a paint correction soon too. Never done one before but my car needs it badly. So diving into the deep end too and hope to have results like you.

The sealant what did you use?

I for some reason thought you use a sealant or a wax finish but not both as they are pretty much inter changeable or not?

My favorite color, beautiful job, really like those silver cup wheels, just the right amount of "bling".

Awesome job. The rims and especially the yellow calipers look great with that color.

Depends on your experience level with detailing. Also depends on your paint condition. Expect 20-40 hours for a complete paint correction and detail with the above considerations.

You use them in tandem as they have different jobs they perform. sealant protects, wax reflects. together they give a "deeper" look to the wax

A lot. Moving quickly will negatively affect your results. The clay bar moves quickly, after that figure at least 1-2 hours per step.

I used Adam's Liquid Paint Sealant, very pleased with the results. After polishing the car I didn't think the paint could get any slicker until I applied the sealant. I was blown away at how slick and glossy the paint looked.

You can use a wax over a sealant (or even some ceramic coatings). Like the response above, they accomplish two different things. Sealant is for protection, wax is for deep shine. By applying the sealant and wax, I can continue to wax the car every few weeks to maintain a show-car finish.

Beautiful car! Love the Cup wheels on the ZR1, and only reiterates to me that you don't have to go over to the dark side with black wheels!

I have a special affinity for the yellow calipers, (swapped out my red Z06 calipers for yellow ones myself) especially the ZR1 Brembo's - really great contrast and emotes high-performance.

Not that you're Vette doesn't look great now, but now that you have the paint back to the point as to where you want it to be, look into TopCoat F11 in maintaining that shine. My Crystal Red never looked so deep and vibrant. Not inexpensive, but it's easy to apply, and a little goes a long way.
