I would stay away unless you can verify somehow that it's not stolen and a clear title can be provided. It's the sellers responsibility to provide a clear title, and without that, you risk losing the car. I have a trailer and RV dealership and I'm constantly calling the tag office to verify liens and titles on trailers and RV's I take on trade or sell on consignment.
Short story to illustrate what can happen. We had an RV brought to our service shop that needed a part from the manufacturer, so we called to order the part with the VIN and they told us the RV was stolen when it was new and they were obligated to report it...and they did. The cops had the RV taken to impound and told the "owner" it was stolen and asked where it came from etc. The owner purchased it from her uncle for 20k, which was a dream price for that RV (first reg flag!), so her only recourse to get her money back was to confront him to make it right, and of course she said she didn't know it was stolen. I never found out if she got her money back, but I'm guessing not.
We have shady characters come in here with flatbeds and cargo trailers we pretty much know are stolen trying to sell them. We actually had someone bring in a horse trailer full of tack!! No title, no sale!! Buyer beware!

Looks like only a 1LZ too. $50K?? Not even close. What happens to all the fluids if they sit for 9yrs? I don't want to know!

It's possible that fake accounts are bidding the car up. This auction has more red flags than a Chinese New Year.

Seller probably didn't expect all the coverage, and is no afraid of legal implications so is fake bidding it up to avoid cops busting his door down.

In 2013 when I was looking for a C6 Z06, there was a 2004 on ebay with 13 miles on it. Had to wonder, does it have 10 year old gas in it? Wasn't covered in dust like this one. And what kind of transport company damages a car loading it?

i bought a 2008 z06 in 2010 with under 3k on it for 59k certified pre owned so not sure why these bids are going so high.
you don't want a car to sit that long

$56.7K Is this for real??? I think NOT!!!
1. Damaged from towing
2. No title
3. Seems pretty clear that there is still money owed on the car or a search would show the title being released to the owner.
Would love to be a fly on the wall wherever this car is sitting at the end of the auction

Would be hilarious if the original owner paid something like $70k for it, didn't make any payments, and now it has been sitting in storage, and with the interest has a 100k+ loan on it.

It's over 57K now.. No way that auction completes successfully. Half the bidders are probably jokers from thr CF yankin' the dude's chain.
