Just took a peek at the ebay ad to see the final sale price and at the bottom read this.
"New message from: rhmarti (9)
Was very excited to purchase this vehicle. After the fact I found out that it has a manual transmission which my wife cannot use. Please cancel all of my bids and the car!
Thank you.

Sincerely,
Roland Martiom "

So I guess it will be back up for auction again

Well yes...naturally, he was buying this car for his wife. Fake bidder as most of us knew...

So much fake biding and shenanigans on that site.

Bet it's not the lowest mileage C6 Z06. Rick Hendricks probably has one with less in among his 150 or so Corvettes.

Mr Martiom the winning bidder didn't know that the Z06 had a manual transmission? More money than brains...

Lets see here... 10 year old fluids? One day in the driveway will fix that, Damaged body? The damage is the front bumper cover, replace the cover/paint, not a big deal here, no title? It does have a title and that has nothing to do with the condition of the car anyway, I rest my case

Looks like the buyer was unable to read the description before placing a $57,000.00 bid lol

Point is, there is literally hundreds of much better examples for much more reasonable prices all over the country. It said right in the ad NO TITLE. I would not have paid $20k for that basket case, but hey theres an *** for every seat

"We bought this car in a storage unit purchase. Please do not bid if you are not ready to buy! Cashiers checks/ wires transfer / cash will be only payment method in this transaction. "

"Now about the car. It is a 2009 Chevy corvette Z06 with 720 original miles! Lowest mileage Z06 in the country! The car is perfect & still has original tires on the car! The Car will be sold with a Court order and a T-22 form that has been signed by the Police officer verifying that the vin comes back ok. Happy bidding!"

It's back on fleabay same seller. Selling on a court order or something to that effect

You would think in 7 months he would have been able to get a title for it. LOL

only way title is getting released is if the original debtor pays the lien off.... everyone knows that's not going to happen. At this point the lien is likely higher than the vehicles worth. Vin doesn't come back stolen because it's not.... but there is no logical reason to purchase this car. Can't register it, can't drive it, parting it is fruitless because the bid is too high.

If I was selling the car, based on what went down earlier this year, I would post more pictures of the title and associated paperwork than of the car.

Remember what Forests' mother said........

He doesn't have the title and will never get the title so he can't take pictures of it.

Make no mistake, the loan company owns this vehicle not the person in possession of it.

Once it surfaced, like in this auction, the bank should be all over it to repo. However, the military suggestion eluded to earlier could be a possibility here as well. I'm surprised nobody (legal entities) are doing a search on the original purchaser. Where are they?
