Default Too loud?

Just had ARH long tubes and a cam installed, I love love love the way it sounds, but also don’t want my neighbors and other people to hate me. I did a custom muffler delete a few months ago, and it sounded amazing. Now with a cam it’s super loud, obviously. I love it, the drone and the sound of it are music to my ears, but at the same time I don’t want to be the guy everyone hates because his car is too loud.

So what hat do you guys think? Keep it (that’s what I want to do) or out the factory mufflers back in and just do the mild to wild thing...

You're going to get a lot of attention from LEO's...muffler mod and M2W for my vote.

funny, but at idle it sounds like my '07 that has a head and cam package, high flow cats, xpipe, and corsa mufflers. Tone is near identical. I wouldn't change mine for the world.

my cars H/C with catless headers to straight pipe and although it's pretty darn loud I can't get enough of it....I get compliments all the time on the way it sounds.... my neighbors don't mind it either, I told them ahead of time that I was sorry and that my car was getting some work done to it that's gonna make it very loud.... I do have some courtesy about when I start it and take it out though.... but in the end I wouldn't let ur neighbors dictate or sway u on what u should do to YOUR car, if u like it loud how it is then leave it.

I’ll never own another vette w/o the m2w exhaust, period.

Why not get some electric cutouts if you're concerned about it? Put your mufflers back on and put the electric cutouts before the mufflers. That way when you want to be quieter you can keep the cutouts closed and when you want to be loud just open them. Aren't cutouts essentially the same as running with no mufflers anyways?

If you don't take off through the neighborhood at WOT at 1 in the morning why worry about it.

Of course I don't live in a high end gated community either.

Keep it! I can think of something worse.... Barking dogs! And they are more prevalent than the occasional sound of an awesome Corvette. (Maybe avoid full throttle exists out of your driveway)

i will admit, as much as i love the sound of mine wide-open, it's nice having my cutouts for road trips or early/late drives in & out of the house. best of both worlds.

How much quieter is it in the open mode with the mild to wild compared to how it is now?

I think your car sounds fantastic! I love the way a cammed car sounds. Hopefully your neighbors are as respectful as you are. I would think as others have said unless you are leaving during the wee hours of the morning you should be fine.

Another vote for M2W in here. My exhaust setup is everything LG and oem mufflers.

Sounds amazing when open but you can:
- Flick it closed before a cold start and it sounds very reasonable
- Close it around/after noticing cops
- Close it on a long highway drive and have no/minimal drone
