Ya slx is what i ordered. Then gotta order brake pads and that will be the first learning moment for me lol. Other than that. Get my higher up so my tall *** doesn't have to be laying down to clean tires and I can get a nice caliper and rotor clean by pulling tires off now. I'm excited. I'll definitely post a pic when it's done. Definitely lifting my Hyundai before I trust it with the z. Ahah

Gonna order one. They got a lot cheaper since last time I checked. Not brainer at these prices. LOL.
Just ordered one from Costco. Too bad its on backorder but don't need it right away anyhow.

Love mine, and I use the truck adapters to lift it a full 24" off the ground to easily remove everything behind the engine.

Just ask them for a discount too. They are good about it.

If you are on the fence you definitely need one of these. One of the best purchases for the Corvette I ever made. Very handy for oil changes , cleaning wheels, exhaust work. Set up was not difficult . One thing to keep in mind if you try the lift without any weight on it, the sides will not go up at the same time. One will be ahead of the other. There's a load balance valve that requires weight to work. Once you have the car on the lift the cylinders will balance and move at the same rate.

How much room is needed for storage? Is it low enough in the down position to leave on the ground & pull the car in & out of the garage over it? I have just over 4 inches of clearance with the front spoiler

I've been wrenching on my cars off and on for over 35 years. I've gotten to the point to where I really need something like this cause I'm getting to old for this s**t.
I still enjoy the reward of working on my car and I know purchasing this would be like starting to work on the car for the first time. I hope to be getting one soon....

Very nice. I have one and love it. I literally use it every week during the racing season, and during the off-season I have had the car sitting on it for months at a time while performing major work. It is extremely safe, easy to use, stable/sturdy and works exactly as described. I have attempted to push my car right off it just to test it and it will not budge.
Set-up is straight forward. Plan on it taking a solid afternoon. The instructions aren't perfect but are adequate. You will need some very basic hand tools/wrenches and an air compressor. Also make sure you buy a few quarts of Dexron III or Dexron VI synthetic ATF. It doesn't come with it and it needs it. It is standard hydraulic oil found in any automotive parts store.
Also, make sure you lift and lower it a number of times before you put a load on it for the first time. You need to get the oil primed through the lines. When you do initially engage it without a load (for priming), the lift will appear to operate erratically (one side goes up faster than the other and may not come down easily). This is normal as it typically needs a load (weight) to operate properly. But you still need to do this initial procedure to prime it. Again, it will seem to be acting erratically but is part of the setup process.
If you need any help setting it up feel free to message me. Also, for lifting your car or any type of work you are performing feel free to message me if you have any questions. Happy to help in any way that I can.

Love the picture of your ratchet hanging off your LR suspension... That's how I loose tools all the time! Leaving them with the car after I work on them.

I’ve had one for 3-4 years now. Love it. I’ve only had one part fail and it was the switch. Called them up and they sent me out a new one for no cost, this was well after the warranty was up.
Its easier to to put my zr1 in the air with the quick jack. I can have it up in less then 5 mins whereas if I go to a friends shop with a 2 post it takes a good 20 mins to get it onto the lift because of the ground effects.

Has wheels on end. I just have mine on edge of garage, and pump over on side. Hoses all have quick disconnects.

I keep mind pushed in from each side towards the middle of the car. You can drive straddle them. When you are ready to use them you can pull them out towards the frame rails. When you're done push them back inwards toward the center of the car and store them there out of the way.

1299 is a good deal. I wonder if the power unit is 12v or 110v. It doesn't specify in the description but in the installation guide it does say 110v. I will order one to. Hydrolic fluid not included, just go in the FAQS of the quickjack web site and you will find the info.
