Default Clutch has started to slip.....recommendations

Recently I have been getting some clutch slip in high RPM's of 3rd and 4th gear. what is the go to replacement these days.
I went heads and cam making 567/510 at about 25,k miles and the car is now at 43,k.

Thinking about bumping to the ZR-1 upgrade. Thoughts???

Ben

I would do a monster lt1-s twin plate instead of the zr1 clutch. Drives like stock.. Lasts longs at your power level.

This. I've put down over 700wtq (on the bottle) through my Monster LT1-S and it holds like a champ.

was just gonna make a thread on the clutch I should be going with looking at this one with the 18 pound flywheel http://monsterclutches.com/c6-corvet...reet-c6-clutch

shpoting for 800-850whp you guys think this clutch can last a while as a DD and highway pulls?

1600$ shipped is a rear deal for 1000hp and torq and a light weight fly wheel and new slave and bleeder! They also offer warranty !!! Lol prob break some driveline parts before the clutch

my slave went out a while ago, so I'm having it replaced in a few weeks as well as throwing in a Monster LT1S twin disc with all the fixings and a Walbro 450 for future flex fuel conversion.... have read many good reviews on it, can't wait to get it in and get back out driving the car.

Personally I would never go that heavy on a clutch setup. You're essentially giving away free power and throttle response. My advise would be no heavier than 35lb total mine is already liggtervthwn that but I'd look into one of the light weight manic setups

Mantic of LT1. No reason to go with ZR1 when the LT1 is just a better version of the zr1 clutch.

Mine is doing the same thing... I was thinking/hoping that it was the original Master Cylinder.. It doesn't do it any other time... Only higher RPM 3/4 shifts... Acts kind of "lazy" for lack of a better term. Other than that the clutch feels great.

I just went to 21st Century yesterday and inquired with Matt... He too seems to think it is heat from the headers and "could" be the slave.. I recently picked up a new OEM Master cylinder and was going to have them install it, some insulation, and some Motul to see if that remedies the issue. If not, then I'll need to go on and upgrade clutch.
