Default Another happy AHP customer!!!

Had the pleasure of working with AHP on getting my heads done. Can't say enough good things about these guys but Kohle and Jay certainly know how to do things right! I was amazed that the car still has its street manners from a drivability standpoint but is also a beast!

Mods:
AHP Package 4 heads w/race porting
AHP ported stock intake manifold
AHP ported stock throttle body
AHP 116 cam w/dyno tuning
Halltech intake
BB Fusion exhaust

Here are the numbers:
RWHP: 549
Torque: 493

Couldn't be happier with the overall experience and the results. Thanks AHP!!!

Any chance you can post up some idle vids with the flaps open and closed? How does it sound compared to stock?

BEAUTIFUL CAR!

Very nice! A great stealthy, smog legal setup with excellent driveability and reliability in the mid-500 rwhp range. Kohle continues to put out example after example of this...

Thanks guys! Yeah, I definitely need more traction now.

Not sure what type of porting but I'll find out. Running stock headers.

I would say the car is a little louder than it was before. With the flaps closed, the drone on the freeway isn't bad or annoying at all. I'll get a video tomorrow of the car idling with the flaps open and closed.

Amazing numbers considering stock exhaust manifolds and stock ported intake manifold! Congrats!

Congratulations! One question, since it was STD CF, do you know the weather conditions when it was dyno tested?

STD still corrects for weather, but corrects to a different standard. (Lower temp and higher pressure). So STD corrects to 60 degrees and SAE to 77 degrees. Usually assume that STD will read 4-5% higher overall results. So take that off his and you get close to what SAE would read.

I got the exact same package, minus the 116 cam. Damn, looking at the dyno it seems I'm leaving 55hp on the table

Thanks! That's because the license plate is brand new LOL. I originally bought this car in AZ and it was a PITA!

Ah, that explains it, I didn't notice STD, those numbers were maybe too amazing.

So a 5% correction would be 522/469, and 4% would be 527/473, still great numbers for the parts!! Maybe about 600-620bhp on a street cam, fun!

I have the cam, heads and intake on my garage workbench waiting for my motivation to arrive.

I would love to see a stock dyno on the same car prior to the heads and cam being installed. Real world what gain is this?

Hey guys, so I found out that the porting on the heads was considered their race porting.

As far as the temperture for that day when it was dyno'd, it was probably between 65-70 degrees F. That's just a guess. I didn't opt to pay for a dyno run before the add-ons as the end result was more important to me

Here's a video clip of the flaps opened and closed. The car was just started up so it was not at operating temperature. Hope this helps.

Default Std

I believe on std numbers as long as the weather is not above 74 degrees the sae correcting doesn't really apply as much very minimum...enjoy car 🚗 vroom
