Under the knife..
Long story short I am changing shops , tuners to a well known, proven tuner here in the DFW area.. I have been going to my current shop, tuner, for years... I have spent tons of money there but it seems as though they have gotten too big to remember the people who supported them from day1! Not naming names at this point of who I am going to but I will tell you that he is well known here in Dallas. He has ventured out on his own and has worked for Quality Motorsports as well as Dallas Performance. He comes highly recommended from a friend who also owns a C6Z along with a few others in my group who have used him over the years... I am pretty set in my ways and OCD when it comes to my vehicles. Most especially my C6Z... Once complete I will post the previous shops dyno graph as well as the finished product. Although I am only having him install a new clutch set up, plugs, oil change, re tune (starting from scratch) and a set of DRM Bilstiens and lowering on stock bolts.
Dropping off tomorrow.. Should be complete sometime next week. Then breaking clutch in for the upcoming WGF event next month.
Stay tuned.

Sorry to hear about your shop Matt. It seems that sometimes shops forget their roots and get a bit too big for their britches.
Good luck with the install! Sounds like some good changes. You have plenty of power, now you need to get it through the drivetrain, put it on the ground and keep it there. Which clutch are you going with?
In for results.

Good luck, hope it works out great for you.

What about 21st Century Muscle Cars? I used those guys on my C6 Z and they do excellent work. Very reputable as well. I believe that Matt is one of the best turners in our area, if not the best.

If you are on the Fort Worth side, Baily's Hyperformance has done some good work on my Z. https://www.facebook.com/bailys.hyperformance/

Sounds like the OP has found a new guy (I believe I know who he is talking about), and I'm interested in seeing how things work out. From everything I've heard, he is excellent.

Patrick is in a fact a good dude. Depending on when you had the work done there this particular individual is most likely the one who wrenched on your car. Thanks for the feedback

21st Century is about 10 min from my house. (Preston Highlands). Matt is in fact a pretty good dude and a very capable tuner... To say he is the BEST in DFW is pretty ballsy... I have known him since the Horsepower Store days in early 2000's.... nothing bad to say about him. But no, they are not doing my work.
As a caveat.... I have several of my friends who had their Z's done there and they are strong running cars.

Thanks Bro... I am actually here in Dallas and like to keep my cash local... Not give it away to you FTW guys..
I will say that I have not heard good things about Bailey's... Not bashing them or your ride as I have no experience. I know a guy who went through some bad ju ju w them that escalated to the courts.
Not judging.... Just sayin. Thanks for taking time to post bro.

update.... So, DRM's are installed (YEAH)... Also found front rotors, pads are worn ( I had an idea) and this!
running LG headers, bought them new a year ago... the previous shop installed them and never questioned it... WOW!!! TWO passenger side connection pipes...? There are little springs that hook to the tabs on these that were zip tied on under carriage... LAZY inattention to detail!! going to shoot over to LG next week to see if Lou will exchange. these were sent to me this way from TPS MAC...

I wish I lived In Texas. Walk down the street and get a tune then go racing lol. No emissions there either, you drive down a street in Cali and get arrested for no cats and slicks lol.
