Default Differences between 1ZR as opposed to 3ZR.??

What exactly is the difference between these two trims? Also, the front splitter , are they the same size in these two trims?
Have not seen many C6 Zs in person, maybe two up close...Thinking of maybe picking one up over the next few years if possible.....However, where I live ,at times the roads are not so great.....Thinking that a front splitter that juts out far will just be damaged time and again....

Splitter is the same. You can replace with an aftermarket and save the original.

Main differences:
* Bluetooth® wireless technology(3) for select phones
* Heated Sport seats with perforated seating surfaces and poweradjustable lumbar support and bolsters
* Power passenger seat
* Memory Package
* Universal Home Remote transmitter
* Bose® seven-speaker sound system with navigation(4)
* XM Radio(5) with one-year subscription
* Power-telescoping steering column
* Custom Leather-Wrapped Interior Package
* Luggage shade and cargo net

History around here has shown it's a lot harder to move a 1ZR than a 3ZR when it comes time to sell. Most want the options so keep that in mind for down the road.

09Z06pj is exactly right. Where the price points are on ZR1's these days, there is absolutely no reason to NOT get a 3ZR. Good luck!

This is by far the best feature, IMO. The C6 is not particularly known for its interior quality, but the leather-wrapped dash, etc.. really moves it up a few notches.

Provided it doesn't peel up like so many do. Otherwise yes, its a great touch.

I'm still debating how I'm going to fix my dash! I can live with it for awhile. It's a shame to have this type of problem on so many of the cars with the leather dash.

Indeed.. I've seen the threads. Fingers crossed I don't encounter that issue as it would be a complete deal breaker for me.

I used to be deep into a platform that had issues with the faux-leather/textured interior trim separating from the panels. A working theory was the application of traditional Armor All and similar interior products would soak through and cause the adhesive to breakdown over time. I wonder if that's a contributor on these cars as well..? Ever since seeing those issues years ago I've just used a lightly damped cloth to wipe down interior surfaces (aside from the seats) with zero issues.

I have a 3ZR and don't listen to the radio. I didn't know we have blue tooth. I wish I had an ox cord or USB port for my play list

I bought a 1ZR and couldn't of been happier. I think heated seats are a personal preference, and/or if you drive or live in cold climate, or, if your significant other is with you. Otherwise, for me, the only thing I may miss a tiny bit is the telescoping steering wheel. Even though I had all of those things sans the "nicer" leather stitched dash in my Z06, I can't say I miss any of it.

Therefor, don't let it be a deal breaker for you. If you find a 3ZR and you're excited about it, then the price difference may be slightly negligible. But, if you find a 1ZR and you're on the fence, don't think twice if you think its the car for you otherwise. I have not once gotten into my car and thought...damn...I wish I had gotten a 3ZR. But, I wouldn't be complaining either.

My cars are outside all of the time. I had a 3M UV clear plastic shield put on the inside of my ZR1 and my ‘08 Dodge Super Bee windshields to prevent dash damage and as a safety device in case something, like a deer, breaks my windshield. Being a former EMT, I have removed my share people from vehicle front seats with glass shards, from the windshield inside, embedded in their faces.

I also have Weather Tech custom windshield shades. They fit very well.

My (Z06) has the 3LZ package. (Sienna Linen) and I love it. Get compliments all of the time. I am thankful that mine is pristine and not peeling.

same here, went from an 08Z06 3LZ to 2011 1ZR. Never missed the "leather wrap" package, car is lighter too and my 08Z06 also got the "dash blister" at year 3 (fixed under warranty). It's ok in 20 years, the 1ZR will be the high dollar rare cars that fetch 30% more LOL
