MAST has been having issues with getting the heads made, so swapped to Brodix.

BP BS 285cc br7 setup
Victory DLC Coated TI intake valves custom made length for BR7 heads
Inconel Exhaust valves
PAC 1208x springs with TI retainers
Crower SS rockers.

Is the BS the 1.614" exhaust valve or the 1.580"? The flow numbers for the 285 BR7 are really stout and will be awesome on your new engine.

For now. Never had issues before. Drives perfect, runs fine.

Down the line I may entertain a standalone, but the $4k+ into it is hard to swallow when stock stuff works great.

OMG your telling me! Took me over 3 months to get my 305cc Black Labels!! Thank god it was winter time where I live. Not sure how that place is in business because their customer service is horrendous!! Must be the quality product that shuts everyone up once they get the heads

Nick, give us some initial first thoughts on the block such as cap quality, deburing, machining, etc.
I’d like to hear your thoughts. I see one of those in my future.

Same block Jared is using to run 8.0@180+ and make a CRAP ton of power, so I have no doubt the block will hold anything I can throw at it.

Jump on over. Mike @ RES has been great to work with.

Only concern/issue I have with the block is cost, and after I got mine I think the cost went up significantly. It was already a solid $1500+ more than a LSX block, and now it is even more.

I'd reconsider those 1208's unless your lift is in the .700" range.

Is that block's oiling priority same as stock? Same bay/bay breathing windows as the LS7 block?

Basically an aluminum LSX block. So priority oiling/etc.

With the crower rockers, valves, 24+psi of boost, you think the 1207s are enough? Been going back and forth. Cam isn't in the 700 range, but got a lot of heavy parts to deal with.
