Sorry I figured the parts were of more interest than a T-shirt.

There really is no excuse for packing an expensive item in such thin, flimsy materials. I purchased a carbon fiber DRED hood from Jim Hall earlier this year and it was extremely well packed and arrived in perfect condition. I think he may have one more available . . .

Not a fan of the dred hood, and won't fit what I need anyways. Plus already spent $3500+ on a hood once, and that was a big mistake, never again.

This will get fixed. Not a huge deal. Not like it is holding anything up.

Here ya go. The DRED hood rivals OEM quality and it's very light. While airflow (heat extraction) is not as high as the original World Challenge Hood, it is reported to significantly reduce engine coolant temps. The mold for this hood was based on the C6 ZR1 hood, thus the OEM look. It's made by the same supplier that produced the CF bodywork for the C6R.

Interested to see how/if the manufacturer pulls through for you. The Dred II is pretty awesome, but that $$$$$ though!

Only word from HCM on the hood is they said the shipping company is going to pick it up this week. We shall see. I'll give it until Friday before filing a claim.

Just cleaned out the oil tank. It was nasty. Full of sludge. I highly suggest people take theirs apart and clean it every once and awhile. The lines don't pick up from the bottom, and the below line level was all junk.

Got rear hubs on. All Delrin bushings done and ARP extended lug studs in. Gotta go pick up my oil pump from CPR.

Short block may go together this week.
