bit the bullett
Picked up a low mile MSD intake. Gonna have "my guy" port it, clean up the runners, shave it, and paint it.... Shame on all of you guys who convinced me to sell a perfectly good FAST 102 for the MSD...

Will you have before/after dyno numbers?
Tomorrow CPR will be swapping my cleaned up MSD for a Stealth Mamo ported MSD. I will start a thread that will include the before/after. The last dyno run in October was 605 rwhp on 91 octane pump gas, so I will have an updated comparison to that on my before run tomorrow.

In addition to the functional aspects, I like those a lot when the red lettering is shaved off and it's made up to look like stock intake manifold, a very nice upgrade in the hands of the right person.

I will have a comparison dyno from the Ported FAST 102 to the "cleaned up" ported MSD. Only other change will be my recent Monster LT1-S clutch.. Everything else in terms of mods will be the same. Obviously the car will be re tuned to maximize HP/TQ.

Not cluttering at all... I am liking it a lot.. I wnet with the LT1-S twin..
Taking a little getting used to but engagement is very nice. NO chatter or vibrations in the ****, clutch pedal.. ZERO effort going through gears.. I have put just at 100 miles ( light to light city driving) on it. In speaking with Monster... They "say 400-500" mile break in. BUT Steve also told me that it would not hurt to dyno tune, street tune (datalog) as it is. Not optimal, but okay.
I have a 1/2 mile race event coming up in 3 weeks... gotta get some miles on this thing.

Keep in mind that I will be using a new tuner ( well known here in DFW)... He will actually start from scratch... Stay "tuned"
