Ok. For the record there was no dail indictor used, all done by feel. Not only was 03BlkZ and myself present but my next door shop neighbor (think long metal building with multiple shop stalls) who has done engine machine work 20+ years and has his shop set up to do engine machine work. We checked every single guide and found all had some wiggle except 2 intakes and 2 exhaust. I would say 2 intakes and 3 exhaust were probably out of specs. Greg, the neighbor, could not believe the condition of the guides. Stating that he has seen other types of engines with 200,000 miles not be that bad.
