Staying 427ci but should be right around 13:1 compression, nice sized cam (25X/26X .666/.666 111+4), still 1-7/8" headers (for now), vac pump, electric water pump, LME heads milled another .010'-.020" to acheive the 13:1. Should flirt with the 700whp mark on e85.
Debating on going to a direct port or the NX plenum spacer for the hi ram. Bonus of the plenum spacer is more plenum volume, which should help on spray. I don't plan on spray anything more than a 250shot. That should make mid 900s whp.
Actually, those are the days I'll be there. :[ Going up with my wife to explore Dallas with the City Pass. Friday and Saturday I believe. I'll hit you up anyway just in case you are still in town. I'd venture to say HPR would be one of our first stops in the AM.
Yes, you are right about that. Very knowledgeable. Learned a lot from our few e-mail exchanges.

Da Z06 needs your shortblock!
Anyway, HPR is definitely the route to go. I know I would probably go HPR 468 if I swapped bottom ends (depending on timing and price). That and I would go direct port, not a nitrous guru by no means though. The plenum spacer may be better.

The 468ci is cool and all, and if I was going to stay strictly N/A, it's a no brainer. Unfortunately, in order to achieve that CI, they use a small, custom piston. Not ideal for power adders. I'll be knocking on the door of 4 digits when I really put it down. It should move out pretty well. If I'm feeling really froggy, I'll throw in a 350 jet and let it eat.
I may even continue to run the dry shot through the spacer plate. I can do a 2 stage that way. The possibilities are endless!

I've already spoke with him. I believe he is going a different route.

Makes sense, definitely interested to see what is next. 350 on your car will be crazy, especially since you may already make more power with the HPR motor.

So, if you haven't noticed lately, I am VERY indecisive. I think I am going to stay with the stock bottom end for a little longer and follow through with my original plans to tear it down mid next year.
That being said, I am currently looking for 2" ARH headers and an electric water pump. Will also be installing a plate kit on my hi ram and going to a wet shot instead of a dry shot.
I am waiting on a quote for the following, from my tuner:
8620 core camshaft DA Z06 custom specs
Johnson 2116 short travel lifters
LS9 oil pump and drive gear
Plus OEM head gaskets, water pump gasket, timing cover gasket, etc...
Going to have my heads milled for 62cc. Roughly 2.5cc more.
