New To Me ZR1
Back in January I posted the desire to purchase a CRM ZR1 and really wanted to purchase one from a forum member instead of a dealer. I had a few members reach out to me, but almost all of them wanted 10K above book values and that just was not going to happen on my end. I enjoyed talking to all of them, but it became very obvious the best deal was going to come from a dealer because the original owner had already decided to sell their vehicle. I got close on a couple of 2010 models, but they were either too far from my home in Texas or had some flaws I was not willing to accept. In the end I found exactly what I wanted at a Porsche dealer in Austin and to say the least the hunt and wait was worth the patience. I am now a proud owner of a 2013 CRM ZR1 with just over 3K miles that was pampered by a single owner in my home state. I have not logged very many miles so far, but there are definitely some things that I really like and others that I don't. A great way to start a love/hate relationship, which gives a car character.

Congrats... maybe we'll pass each other at some point. I live in SE Allen, and drive through/by Parker and the surrounding areas daily, sometimes out in my JSB ZR1.
Have fun with the new toy!!

Congratulations!
Hope the love far outweighs the hate in your new relationship.
I’m the original owner of a ‘13 as well and still enjoying the honeymoon (6 months of the year - ahhh, that’s the secret!).
ENJOY!

This is my forth Corvette and by far my favorite body style and that was the main reason for the purchase.

Dislikes:
Creaking Driver's Door
Seats
Crappy Nav. Radio
No Backup Camera
Cheap rubberized interior pieces
Still prefer to drive my modified C5 Z06
Don't get me wrong the ZR1 is a great car, but if I had not fallen in love with the styling it would not be in my garage. I have several other high performance cars that drive better, but she is a very pretty girl and that is why I had to have one.

Congrats OP! she is beautiful.
As for the older Nav/Radio, i came from an 08 C6 with the same one and had i kept that instead of buying a new one i would have purchased a pioneer replacement with android auto/apple carplay. it's a plug and play. you could probably even put a small camera back there without cutting or drilling into anything. again, had i kept my C6 i would have gone that route.
PS. your attempt at pics was subpar at best lol LET'S Go!!!!!!!!! inside outside angles come on man!

Beautiful car! The radio/backup cam is an easy fix. I got a Kenwood from Crutchfield and couldn't be happier, better nav and Bluetooth. A couple hours and you'll be good to go. It almost looks oem IMHO as well. I can't remember the model but it was around $7-800 and they have adapters to retain the steering wheel controls. Not sure why pic is upside down?
