Default Which ZR1 Carbon Fiber Spoiler with No Extra Drilling?

I've read so many different threads on the carbon fiber spoilers that my eyes started to hurt. Brand X - one person says direct replacement fit for ZR1, no extra holes needed. Next person says, you need to make the holes larger or add some new ones.

I want a carbon fiber replacement for my factory ZR1 white spoiler. I'm open to different spoiler styles. Who makes a direct replacement utilizing factory mounting points/holes with no modifications needed? Not interested in anything that only uses adhesive/tape. Thank you.

Appreciate the offer. I'll be in touch if I end up going that way.

I installed a KATECH Carbon Fiber spoiler on my ZR1, if I recall correctly it was just a remove the OEM spoiler and install the KATECH spoiler.

Thanks for the info. I started reading more about the Katech. Looks like it uses 4 points for install. Appears they are all closer to the center and do not use the two outside points. I guess if I don't find any threads about Katechs flying off, they are good to go.

I've had 3 spoilers on the back of my car to date - factory ZR1 (OEM on my car), C7 Carbon brand and Katech.

Both aftermarket spoilers required either opening up the original holes and / or drilling new ones, no exceptions.

If anybody tells you otherwise, they're either lying or telling you half-truths.

A lot of folks on the board pay professional body men to install these parts, they are not exposed to the nasty details, all they see is the finished product - just keep that in mind.

Hey Andrew,

I would love to see this in person if you do end up getting an extended spoiler. I want to get a CF Extended ZR1 spoiler as well for my Z06, but I really want to see how it looks in person first.
