how much of a bottle neck is the stock hpipe and catback on a heads and cam car? will the cats restrict things? My car has headers, I'm unsure of the brand
I tested this twice. On a HCI LS7, stock mufflers will cost 5rwhp and 12-20rwtq compared to a true 3" muffler.
Any estimate how much the OE x-pipe with the 3rd and 4th cat (2012/2013) is choking the exhaust given that I've got ported heads and cam, but OE exhaust manifolds and exhaust?

I would estimate 7-10rwhp difference between stock catted X-pipe and Off-road X-pipe with OE manifolds. Depends on the health of the cats, clogged/not clogged.
