Default Battery vent

I tried to search this with no luck but when I started my head swap I pulled my battery. Mainly because it was low on charge and I wanted to bring it back up. I noticed the battery vent tube in the compartment but it was not connected to the battery. There is no nipple to attach it to. The battery is an interstate and I was wondering if auto parts stores sell the nipples or is that something that comes with the battery?

Only lead acid batteries have a vent tube connection on the battery. AGM/Gel batteries do not have a vent tube. Just leave it open.
