Default 2007 LS7 Build Results - Good?

With the risk of looking uneducated for not knowing better and taking the time to do better research, I am wondering if you guys can tell me if I should be disappointed or happy with these results below

Stock:
450RWHP
430RWTQ

After:

American Racing 1 7/8” Headers
X Pipe
Cold Air Intake
Stage 2 CNC Ported Heads with Competition Valve job
Camshaft by Comp (sorry don't know the specs and this could be the big factor)
Mamo Ported MSD Intake
Factory Ported Throttle Body
Tune

536RWHP
485RWTQ

I was thinking/hoping it would be considerably more, but it could be my ignorance.

Any input is much appreciated.

What heads? Stage 2 doesn't mean anything.

What cam?

What intake?

Off road X or catted?

Fuel?

Forget the numbers for a moment. How does the car feel/drive?

I have not picked up the car yet or driven it as it 3 hour drive away. I feel the numbers are pretty low (I could be wrong) and want to save the trip to pick it up if I have to request to have something changed with it.

The cam can make 50-60 hp difference from modest to strong, so it is hard to tell w/o those specs. Do you enjoy how it drives, that is the important thing as drivability was your priority. My cam'd Z is strong, but you would not like it's daily driving due to the cam.

If I had to guess they probably gave you a cam similar to the BTR stage 2, if so your results are well within the margin. I have a similiar setup as yours (if they did indeed use a similar cam to the BTR 2) and landed just a tad higher to where you are. Dyno's can vary, the same car can have different results on different dynos, they are mainly used as a tuning tool. The important thing is how does it drive/perform?

That is very close to the BTR stage 2 cam (230/246 .644/.630 115)

I assume you did your upgrade to address the head issue and threw in a mild cam while the car is being upgraded. I did the same, used WCCH stage 2 heads,BTR stage 2 cam, LT headers/MSD/Akra and I landed +5 rwhp/tq than your results. I would not change a thing until you pick up your car and drive it, I noticed a huge difference on my 'butt dyno" and the drivability is fantastic. Let us know your thoughts once you pickup your car.

To give a comparison.
We just got done doing a Ls7 build here with customer supplied AHP 4 ported heads our S2.7 cam, airaid intake, the car made 552rwhp & 501rwtq. (stock exhaust manifolds, stock intake manifold, stock TB, Stock exhaust
our cam is 228/242 114

Every Dyno is different every car is different the track should give you an answer if the power is there or the car really gained what you were expecting.

My 07 Z06 with a BTR stage 3 cam, stock heads (with valve guides fixed), stock intake manifold, vararam cai, 2" stainless works headers / offroad X-pipe made 545hp/498tq. Then after MSD intake manifold around 575hp/505tq. Numbers seem a little low for what you did.

I hve a custom cam very close to that - 230/246 .634/.634 116+4. All your other mods are very similar to mine too. Mine made 556/485. So I really think you're within the margin of error when it comes to dynos. I'd drive it and enjoy the heck out of it! Only take it back if you have major drivability issues, smell way too much gas (running rich) or hear excessive valvetrain noise beyond what is "normal."
